Fire Pit
You’ve arrived at Prospect Cottage and need information about the property and the facilities we provide. Here’s all the info.
At THE COTTAGE
During the cooler months it’s nice to sit outside around a fire.
We have a fire pit for guest use, with fire lighters and long matches located in the cupboard above the fridge next to the picnic ware.
Keep the fire pit at least three metres away from buildings or the fence.
Never leave the fire pit unattended while it’s alight.
Keep an eye on children and pets as the metal fire pit can be hot to touch even after the fire has gone out.
Please hose down the flames/coals before leaving the fire pit unattended.
NOTE: The fire pit is not available during peak fire season and we ask you don’t light fires during this time.
